Cannabis Events in Seattle

Top Cannabis Events in Seattle Washington for 2023 and Beyond

Looking for Cannabis Events in Seattle?

Seattle has always been a crucible for new ideas and progressive thinking. Back in the 90s, it was the birthplace of the Grunge movement, and Washington was one of the first states to legalize weed.

Now, Seattle is one of the best cities for celebrating cannabis and its culture. So, weed enthusiasts can participate in a wide variety of cannabis infused events. Best of all, these types of gatherings happen around Seattle, too, in places like Greenwood, Bothel, Shoreline, Kirkland, and Green Lake.

Here’s a rundown of the kinds of events cannabis lovers can participate in:

Ganja and Gaming

What’s better than rolling and smoking a blunt and then playing video games all night long? The Venn diagram of stoners and gamers is almost a full circle, so here’s where you can meet other like-minded individuals and dominate on the virtual stage. Just don’t smoke too much or your reflexes won’t be on point.

Stoner Meetups

Because Seattle and the surrounding area is so large, it can be hard to meet people. Mr. Greens helps facilitate meetup events and other social gatherings in places like Greenwood, Kirkland, and Shoreline so smokers can hang out, make friends, and just enjoy the vibes. There’s no pressure, only blunts.

420 Stoner Run

Marathons are a great way to exercise and support your fellow citizens. There are many different themed marathons these days, including the Zombie Walk or Color Run. The Stoner Run happens on 4/20 and allows marijuana users to get outside and get some fresh air before smoking a joint or a bowl in the comfort of their home.

Now & Later: Cannabis-Infused Comedy Show

This comedy show has multiple dates, so don’t feel like you’re going to miss out if you can’t attend one or more of them. This show is a fantastic place to laugh and enjoy marijuana culture with lots of like-minded people. You don’t have to be stoned to find the jokes funny, but it’s certainly encouraged.

Om Smokin

Yoga and cannabis just go together, which is why Om Smokin has a couple of events, complete with music and vendors so you can enjoy your time better.

RAD Expo

When talking about cannabis events Seattle, the RAD expo will invariably come up. RAD stands for Retail and Dispensary, and it’s an event for dispensaries and cannabis purveyors of all kinds. While the event was last held before the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s likely to return, although probably not in 2023.

Hempfest

One of the original weed events in Seattle Washington, Hempfest was originally conceived as a way to legitimize marijuana to pave the way toward legalization. Now that cannabis is legal, the event doesn’t have quite the same message, but instead, it’s a way for cannabis lovers to come together and celebrate.

Hempfest is another weed events Seattle that was set back by the COVID-19 pandemic, but it may return in glorious fashion in 2024 or beyond.
